Dara Tabatabaei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Farrokh Mirzaei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Eston's Iraj Nakisa got control of the ball when Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 92nd minute Farid Nikbakht-Vahedi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraj Nakisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hafez Fatemi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Dara Tabatabaei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Yashar Alizadeh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eston eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
