A collision led to South Shields getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jahangir Azimi hit a great ball. Morteza Moradi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javad Memarzadeh in the 16th minute of the match. Mani Ghanad took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Morteza Moradi. Morteza Moradi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Javad Memarzadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morteza Moradi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mani Ghanad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Kings Lynn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. South Shields were winning 0-3.

Bahman Talaei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. That made the score 0-5 after 87 minutes of play. 94 minutes into the match, Kings Lynn's goalkeeper Morteza Moradi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mani Ghanad. Morteza Moradi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javad Memarzadeh went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.
