Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hedzyat Shirzad started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bulphan City's Sattar Rouhi got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Khashayar Hatami left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gateshead FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bulphan City's Tirdad Kashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khashayar Hatami in the 18th minute of play. Bamshad Haghi's late challenge caught a Gateshead FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bamshad Haghi helped the player get up and apologised. Bamshad Haghi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Khashayar Hatami came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gateshead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khashayar Hatami couldn't finish the play. Navid Talaei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahman Golzar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Bahman Golzar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Navid Talaei in the 37th minute. Khashayar Hatami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tirdad Kashi having to interfere. Tirdad Kashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hedzyat Shirzad in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pouya Ghorbani during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pouya Ghorbani kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Bulphan City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gateshead FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Massoud Majidi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match Serjik Hosseini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bahman Golzar skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Gateshead FC's Khashayar Hatami sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tirdad Kashi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bulphan City defense, Khashayar Hatami kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tirdad Kashi. The Bulphan City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tirdad Kashi should have stopped the shot. Bulphan City's Tirdad Kashi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Bulphan City from getting a goal against them. Hedzyat Shirzad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tirdad Kashi came out and tried to block the shot, but Hedzyat Shirzad slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Hedzyat Shirzad took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Tirdad Kashi to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Massoud Majidi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bahman Golzar was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Serjik Hosseini kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Gateshead FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soroush Mazloumi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bulphan City's Behzad Alviri tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tirdad Kashi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hedzyat Shirzad, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Bulphan City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gateshead FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gateshead FC.
