Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hedzyat Shirzad kicked off to start the match. Levenshulme's Arash Majidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hedzyat Shirzad in the 4th minute of play. Sattar Derakhshan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daryoush Lankarani's late challenge caught a Gateshead FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daryoush Lankarani helped the player get up and apologised. Daryoush Lankarani hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Levenshulme defense, Khashayar Hatami kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arash Majidi. The Levenshulme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arash Majidi should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Levenshulme's Ahmad Reza Kianian got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Hedzyat Shirzad came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Gateshead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hedzyat Shirzad couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the game, Hedzyat Shirzad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gateshead FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Levenshulme the free kick. The supporters of Levenshulme booed when Gateshead FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hedzyat Shirzad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arash Majidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khashayar Hatami in the 24th minute of play. Bahman Golzar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sepehr Alinejad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Bahman Golzar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryoush Lankarani, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Hedzyat Shirzad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arash Majidi having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Javeed Pious hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Bahman Golzar managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Levenshulme's Sepehr Alinejad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sattar Derakhshan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahman Golzar having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Pouya Ghorbani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sepehr Alinejad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bahman Golzar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Gateshead FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sattar Derakhshan came free, but Bahman Golzar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hedzyat Shirzad scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arash Majidi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sattar Derakhshan made a kick off. Arash Majidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hedzyat Shirzad, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Sepehr Alinejad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bahman Golzar was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sepehr Alinejad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Levenshulme's supporters rose to their feet, but Sepehr Alinejad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahman Golzar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hedzyat Shirzad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arash Majidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soroush Mazloumi's late challenge caught a Levenshulme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Soroush Mazloumi helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Gateshead FC got a freekick which was hit by Soroush Mazloumi. When Levenshulme's Sattar Derakhshan in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gateshead FC's goalie prevented a goal. 2-3 became the score in the 81st minute when Hedzyat Shirzad elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Khashayar Hatami could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Arash Majidi made a huge save. Gateshead FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
