Kambiz Rahnavard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Payam Babakan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Koohyar Shahidi fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leyland FC's protests and gave Koohyar Shahidi a yellow card for diving instead. Koohyar Shahidi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rostam Sharifinia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Payam Babakan was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Shervin Eshkevari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mansoor Babakan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Exeter were furious when Kaveh Niknafs was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mansoor Babakan went to the wrong direction when Kourosh Daneshjou was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Iraj Hasheminejad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aram Baghaei Naeeni kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Leyland FC's Payam Babakan got control of the ball when Touraj Farzanian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Touraj Farzanian in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Payam Babakan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iraj Hasheminejad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansoor Babakan having to interfere. Sattar Mazloumi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, Leyland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shervin Eshkevari to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Asghar Asgharzadeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Payam Babakan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Payam Babakan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Touraj Farzanian in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Omid Shahroudi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Payam Babakan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Touraj Farzanian came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Exeter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Touraj Farzanian couldn't finish the play. Payam Babakan came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Exeter's Asghar Asgharzadeh. But to his dismay, Asghar Asgharzadeh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Leyland FC booed when Exeter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kambiz Rahnavard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Touraj Farzanian's late challenge caught a Leyland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Touraj Farzanian helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Exeter got a freekick which was hit by Touraj Farzanian. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asghar Asgharzadeh in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Payam Babakan saved Leyland FC from getting behind. In the 82ndth minute of the game Asghar Asgharzadeh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leyland FC's Payam Babakan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Asghar Asgharzadeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Exeter's Touraj Farzanian got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Touraj Farzanian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Exeter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Touraj Farzanian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Payam Babakan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asghar Asgharzadeh, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Touraj Farzanian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Payam Babakan having to interfere. When Rahim Eshkevari came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Exeter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahim Eshkevari couldn't finish the play. Exeter walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
