The referee gave Heybridge Basin FC a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmad Mofti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Culcheth's Ebi Bengar. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Heybridge Basin FC's zone, Farhad Jalali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gholam Naghdabadi came out of the goal and Farhad Jalali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ebi Bengar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iman Tamadon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Iman Tamadon made a precise shot to the right of Ebi Bengar. Culcheth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ramin Rezaei kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 29 minutes in the game, Kianoosh Hejazi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gholam Naghdabadi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iman Tamadon in the 33rd minute of play forced Culcheth's goalkeeper Ebi Bengar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iman Tamadon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ebi Bengar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Heybridge Basin FC's goalkeeper Gholam Naghdabadi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kianoosh Hejazi. Iman Tamadon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ebi Bengar having to make a save. After having played for 45 minutes, Hadi Emad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heybridge Basin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hadi Emad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Culcheth's Jafar Taghavi got a free kick in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hadi Emad in the 47th minute of play forced Culcheth's goalkeeper Ebi Bengar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Heybridge Basin FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iman Tamadon was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hadi Emad sped through Culcheth's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ebi Bengar. Siavash Farhadi got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Siavash Farhadi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kianoosh Hejazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Jafar Taghavi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Culcheth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Hadi Emad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ebi Bengar made a huge save. Ebi Bengar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iman Tamadon in the 70th minute of the match. Hadi Emad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Behrouz Haghi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Iman Tamadon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iman Tamadon might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ebi Bengar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iman Tamadon ran back to his position shaking his head. Kianoosh Hejazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Culcheth's Ebi Bengar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iman Tamadon in the 89th minute of play. Hadi Emad struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ebi Bengar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heybridge Basin FC. Kianoosh Hejazi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gholam Naghdabadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iman Tamadon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ebi Bengar having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Heybridge Basin FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
