Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Shahyar Jabbari started the match with the kick off. Behrouz Haghi charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behrouz Haghi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Behrouz Haghi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 minutes, Danush Mohajerani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perspolis and the Culcheth players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Perspolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danush Mohajerani to maneuver through the defense. Pasha Rahnama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Farhad Jalali's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. During the 13th minute of the match Behrouz Haghi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Behrouz Haghi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Behrouz Haghi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Shahyar Jabbari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ebi Bengar having to interfere. Pasha Rahnama made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Kianoosh Hejazi sent off a good shot on target. Kianoosh Hejazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kianoosh Hejazis short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Pasha Rahnama to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Perspolis's Pasha Rahnama proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Perspolis from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Payam Sharifi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Kianoosh Hejazi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pasha Rahnama. Perspolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kianoosh Hejazi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Siavash Farhadi charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siavash Farhadi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Culcheth fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kianoosh Hejazi to strike the kick off in the second half. Babak Mobali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pasha Rahnama having to interfere. Culcheth's Ebi Bengar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shahyar Jabbari in the 58th minute of play. Kianoosh Hejazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pasha Rahnama having to interfere. A collision led to Culcheth getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jafar Taghavi hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Kianoosh Hejazi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Perspolis's Pasha Rahnama. Pasha Rahnama was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pasha Rahnama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Farhad Jalali went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kianoosh Hejazi in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pasha Rahnama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Perspolis's zone, Farhad Jalali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pasha Rahnama came out of the goal and Farhad Jalali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Payam Sharifi during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Perspolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Payam Sharifi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Culcheth's Babak Mobali got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute, Kianoosh Hejazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Culcheth's Ebi Bengar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shahyar Jabbari in the 95th minute of play. Culcheth's Kianoosh Hejazi got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danush Mohajerani hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Culcheth's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
