In the 2nd match minute, VIVA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asghar Kaebi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farhad Jalali in the 10th minute of play forced VIVA FC's goalkeeper Farzin Sohrabpour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes, Culcheth's Siavash Farhadi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Farzin Sohrabpour came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Culcheth reached it. In the 15th play minute Younes Ghomi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ebi Bengar. 1-0. Farzin Sohrabpour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farhad Jalali in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Culcheth's Farhad Jalali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farzin Sohrabpour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 25 played minutes Culcheth got a freekick which was hit by Siavash Farhadi. With a little luck, Culcheth's Ebi Bengar got control of the ball when Younes Ghomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Siavash Farhadi threw the ball into play from the sideline. VIVA FC's Farzam Aghili quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asghar Kaebi in the 30th minute of play forced Culcheth's goalkeeper Ebi Bengar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Farhad Jalali came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Culcheth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Farhad Jalali couldn't finish the play. Asghar Kaebi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ebi Bengar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Siavash Farhadi with Babak Mobali as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 47 minutes into the game, Siavash Farhadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Culcheth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VIVA FC the free kick. The supporters of VIVA FC booed when Culcheth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siavash Farhadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asghar Kaebi made a kick off. Kianoosh Hejazi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Farzin Sohrabpour made a huge save. VIVA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Behrouz Haghi scored to the left of an out of position Farzin Sohrabpour, making the score, 1-2. In the 63rd minute, Younes Ghomi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ebi Bengar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Younes Ghomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Culcheth's Farhad Jalali slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Farzin Sohrabpour. That made the score 2-3 after 69 minutes of play. VIVA FC's Farzin Sohrabpour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save VIVA FC from getting a goal against them. VIVA FC's Farzin Sohrabpour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farhad Jalali in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asghar Kaebi in the 86th minute of play forced Culcheth's goalkeeper Ebi Bengar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Culcheth got a freekick which was hit by Behrouz Haghi. Ardavan Sanei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ebi Bengar having to interfere. With 95 minutes on the clock, Asghar Mousavi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Farzin Sohrabpour, was totally fooled by Culcheth's Siavash Farhadi, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The VIVA FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Culcheth's performance. The match ended with a win for Culcheth.
