Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shahyar Jabbari made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as oranso blues's Yashar Sharifinasab slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pasha Rahnama. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 8 minutes into the match, Perspolis's goal looked a bit too open when Farhang Memarzadeh came free, but Pasha Rahnama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Yashar Sharifinasab reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pasha Rahnama. The goal made the score 2-0. Zia Farahmand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pasha Rahnama having to interfere. In the 19th minute Farhang Memarzadeh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pasha Rahnama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yashar Sharifinasab in the 22nd minute of play forced Perspolis's goalkeeper Pasha Rahnama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farhang Memarzadeh who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Pasha Rahnama when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pasha Rahnama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hirad Enayati in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Perspolis's zone, Zia Farahmand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pasha Rahnama came out of the goal and Zia Farahmand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zia Farahmand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Farhang Memarzadeh who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Pasha Rahnama when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pirooz Parsivand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pasha Rahnama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farhang Memarzadeh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Perspolis's goalkeeper Pasha Rahnama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pirooz Parsivand. After 48 played minutes Perspolis got a freekick which was hit by Ferdows Moradian. Pasha Rahnama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abtin Barzegar in the 50th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Farhang Memarzadeh to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Pirooz Parsivand managed to get in a good position for a shot. oranso blues's supporters rose to their feet, but Pirooz Parsivand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pasha Rahnama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, oranso blues's Yashar Sharifinasab sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pasha Rahnama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pirooz Parsivand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pasha Rahnama having to interfere. A collision led to Perspolis getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ferdows Moradian hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farhang Memarzadeh in the 60th minute of play forced Perspolis's goalkeeper Pasha Rahnama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Perspolis's goal looked a bit too open when Yashar Sharifinasab came free, but Pasha Rahnama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Payam Sharifi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Pasha Rahnama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hirad Enayati in the 72nd minute of play. Perspolis's Pasha Rahnama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zia Farahmand in the 74th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Zia Farahmand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The oranso blues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Pasha Rahnama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farhang Memarzadeh in the 88th minute of the match. A wasted opportunity for oranso blues. oranso blues's Yashar Sharifinasab got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Yashar Sharifinasab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the oranso blues players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
