Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sadra Ghayeghran kicked off to start the match. Rashid Kaebi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sadra Ghayeghran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salar Azizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Esfandiar Fatemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Cove:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of South Shields:s goal. Daryoush Shams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sadra Ghayeghran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rashid Kaebi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadra Ghayeghran in the 25th minute of play forced South Shields's goalkeeper Rashid Kaebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Touraj Rezazadeh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Shields's supporters crossed their fingers, but Touraj Rezazadeh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Cove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atash Kazemzadeh to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Teymour Ahmadzadeh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rashid Kaebi skillfully saved the ball. When Touraj Rezazadeh came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the South Shields fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Touraj Rezazadeh couldn't finish the play. Sadra Ghayeghran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rashid Kaebi having to interfere. Rashid Kaebi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Daryoush Shams sent off a good shot on target. Rashid Kaebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadra Ghayeghran in the 47th minute of play. After the first half South Shields were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salar Azizi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salar Azizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Touraj Rezazadeh could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Esfandiar Fatemi however easily saved by the left post. Parham Khalatbari's late challenge caught a Cove's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Parham Khalatbari helped the player get up and apologised. Salar Azizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cove's Esfandiar Fatemi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Cove from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Touraj Rezazadeh made a precise shot to the right of Esfandiar Fatemi. Cove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 82nd match minute, Cove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yashar Tabatabaei to maneuver through the defense.
