The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arsalnn Habibi kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Ulverston AFC booed when South Shields was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bardia Farzanian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aref Kaebi made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Touraj Rezazadeh sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute Salar Azizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aref Kaebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ashkan Firoozabadi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rashid Kaebi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danush Sanei's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Rashid Kaebi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danush Sanei, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, South Shields's Sohrab Ahmadzadeh got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Farid Farnoudi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and South Shields's Rashid Kaebi didn't even have to move. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Touraj Rezazadeh got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Sahand Delnavaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ulverston AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Reza Kermani Moghadam hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ulverston AFC's goalkeeper Aref Kaebi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Parham Khalatbari. If Touraj Rezazadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aref Kaebi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danush Sanei to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Touraj Rezazadeh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aref Kaebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Salar Azizi managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Shields's supporters rose to their feet, but Salar Azizi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aref Kaebi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salar Azizi in the 68th minute of play forced Ulverston AFC's goalkeeper Aref Kaebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Danush Sanei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rashid Kaebi. That made the score 2-1 in the 70 minute of play. If Touraj Rezazadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sahand Delnavaz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 79th playminute. 84 minutes into the match, South Shields's Touraj Rezazadeh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aref Kaebi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aref Kaebi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salar Azizi went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Amir Shamsaei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rashid Kaebi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danush Sanei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. South Shields had won after a very even match.
