Esfandiar Fatemi made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Hadi Emad sent off a good shot on target. Hadi Emad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Esfandiar Fatemi made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Heybridge Basin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sadra Ghayeghran came free, but Gholam Naghdabadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esfandiar Fatemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iman Tamadon, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Cove's goal looked a bit too open when Iman Tamadon came free, but Esfandiar Fatemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Iman Tamadon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heybridge Basin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iman Tamadon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hadi Emad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esfandiar Fatemi having to interfere. Gholam Naghdabadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daryoush Shams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sadra Ghayeghran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Iman Tamadon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hadi Emad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Esfandiar Fatemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Navid Babakan kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iman Tamadon was the one to do the kick off. Hadi Emad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Shaya Bazargan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heybridge Basin FC and the Cove players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Heybridge Basin FC's Shaya Bazargan got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hadi Emad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esfandiar Fatemi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cove's zone, Hadi Emad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esfandiar Fatemi came out of the goal and Hadi Emad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Heybridge Basin FC's Iman Tamadon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esfandiar Fatemi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daryoush Shams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gholam Naghdabadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Iman Tamadon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esfandiar Fatemi was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Hadi Emad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iman Tamadon in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esfandiar Fatemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Iman Tamadon made a precise shot to the right of Esfandiar Fatemi. Cove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 96 minutes into the match, Iman Tamadon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esfandiar Fatemi. Cove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iman Tamadon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Heybridge Basin FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
