The referee ignored Culcheth's protests and gave Siavash Farhadi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Heybridge Basin FC. Ahmad Mofti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ebi Bengar. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Kianoosh Hejazi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Culcheth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kianoosh Hejazi in the 17th minute of play forced Heybridge Basin FC's goalkeeper Gholam Naghdabadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farhad Jalali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gholam Naghdabadi having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Iman Tamadon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Culcheth's Ebi Bengar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, Culcheth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jafar Taghavi to maneuver through the defense. Farhad Jalali took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gholam Naghdabadi. Gholam Naghdabadi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Milad Mansouri charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milad Mansouri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Behrouz Haghi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gholam Naghdabadi having to interfere. Hadi Emad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javeed Abdi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Hadi Emad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ebi Bengar made a huge save. Ebi Bengar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iman Tamadon, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Culcheth's Behrouz Haghi got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Farhad Jalali to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kianoosh Hejazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kianoosh Hejazi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Gholam Naghdabadi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Farhad Jalali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heybridge Basin FC's Gholam Naghdabadi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gholam Naghdabadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farhad Jalali, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Iman Tamadon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ebi Bengar having to interfere. Gholam Naghdabadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farhad Jalali in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Heybridge Basin FC's zone, Kianoosh Hejazi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gholam Naghdabadi came out of the goal and Kianoosh Hejazi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Iman Tamadon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ebi Bengar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Kianoosh Hejazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ebi Bengar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hadi Emad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farhad Jalali in the 96th minute of play forced Heybridge Basin FC's goalkeeper Gholam Naghdabadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Heybridge Basin FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Culcheth's performance. The match ended with a win for Culcheth.
