Barnard Castle's Massoud Eshkevari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azad Hajrezaei in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fardad Rohani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Massoud Eshkevari was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Azad Hajrezaei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Massoud Eshkevari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Azad Hajrezaei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Fardad Rohani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Massoud Eshkevari having to interfere. The wind increased when Azad Hajrezaei made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Barnard Castle's Massoud Eshkevari got control of the ball when Azad Hajrezaei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Massoud Eshkevari came out and tried to block the shot, but Azad Hajrezaei slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 82nd minute. In the 88th match minute, Luton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esmaeel Pashazadeh to maneuver through the defense. Omid Ghomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghobad Tamadon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Asad Farhadian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luton's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
