With an all-out effort, Great Bookham's Behzad Fatemi threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nader Eshkevari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 3 minutes into the game, Shahrdad Mousavi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dawlish United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Great Bookham the free kick. Shahrdad Mousavi hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Borzoo Sohrabpour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khashayar Bagheri having to interfere. Nader Eshkevari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khashayar Bagheri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borzoo Sohrabpour in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Great Bookham getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jafar Sharifinia hit a great ball. If Shahrdad Iranian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dawlish United's Borzoo Sohrabpour in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Great Bookham's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Dawlish United's Behzad Fatemi got control of the ball when Shahrdad Iranian tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 minutes, Farhang Ghoreishi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dawlish United and the Great Bookham players grew even worse after the yellow card. Farhang Ghoreishi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Behzad Fatemi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nader Eshkevari's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Nader Eshkevari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behzad Fatemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shahrdad Iranian got free with Behzad Fatemi in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jafar Sharifinia during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Great Bookham getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mehrdad Akbarpour hit a great ball. Kianoosh Sajjadi, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Great Bookham's Khashayar Bagheri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borzoo Sohrabpour in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nader Eshkevari was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Dawlish United's Esmaeel Karimi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Shahrdad Iranian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shahrdad Iranian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behzad Fatemi having to interfere. The supporters of Great Bookham booed when Dawlish United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farid Zahedpasha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dawlish United's zone, Shahrdad Iranian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behzad Fatemi came out of the goal and Shahrdad Iranian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dawlish United's Behzad Fatemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nader Eshkevari in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Great Bookham booed when Dawlish United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esmaeel Karimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Dawlish United's goal looked a bit too open when Nader Eshkevari came free, but Behzad Fatemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khashayar Bagheri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borzoo Sohrabpour in the 69th minute of the match. Behzad Fatemi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shahrdad Iranian went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mehrdad Akbarpour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Behzad Fatemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Shahrdad Iranian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behzad Fatemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
