Rahim Ghoreishi came out of the goal and Koohyar Asgharzadeh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 13 in the game by Koohyar Asgharzadeh from a close distance when the talented Rahim Ghoreishi managed to make a qualified save. Birkenhead's players were relieved. Shahrooz Alavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pirooz Talebi fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birkenhead's protests and gave Pirooz Talebi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Birkenhead's Pirooz Talebi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Birkenhead's Rahim Ghoreishi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Birkenhead from getting a goal against them. Bayton's Amir Parsa Jabbari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sadra Kazemzadeh in the 23rd minute of play. Shahrooz Alavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sadra Kazemzadeh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birkenhead's Arsalnn Bazargan got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsalnn Bazargan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amir Parsa Jabbari saved Bayton from getting behind. Rahim Ghoreishi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahrooz Alavi in the 38th minute of the match. When Serjik Shirzad fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayton's protests and gave Serjik Shirzad a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Bayton got a freekick which was hit by Serjik Shirzad. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The crowd rose to their feet as Birkenhead's Arsalnn Bazargan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amir Parsa Jabbari. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Birkenhead's Pirooz Talebi got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Pirooz Talebi off the ground. In the 58th minute, Pirooz Talebi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sadra Kazemzadeh in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amir Parsa Jabbari, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee gave Bayton a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iraj Hashemian, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Birkenhead's Rahim Ghoreishi. 1-1. Koohyar Asgharzadeh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rahim Ghoreishi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahrooz Alavi in the 74th minute of play forced Birkenhead's goalkeeper Rahim Ghoreishi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koohyar Asgharzadeh might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rahim Ghoreishi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Koohyar Asgharzadeh ran back to his position shaking his head. Arsalnn Bazargan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Bayton's Shahrooz Alavi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sadra Kazemzadeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes, Gholam Artoonian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birkenhead and the Bayton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Birkenhead's Gholam Artoonian got a free kick in the 85th minute. Bayton were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Birkenhead's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iraj Hashemian took the corner. Arshia Alinejad was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 95th minute, Koohyar Asgharzadeh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sadra Kazemzadeh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
