But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Farid Sohrabpour couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pars FC's goalkeeper Genílson Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Farid Sohrabpour was the one to do the kick off. When Hereford United's Nader Fazel in 60 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Genílson Queiroz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Hereford United's Amir Parsa Rahmati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farid Sohrabpour in the 62nd minute of play. Farid Sohrabpour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rostam Rahmati went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Genílson Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rostam Rahmati, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Hereford United's Nader Fazel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genílson Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nader Fazel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Pars FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hereford United's performance. The match ended with a win for Hereford United.
