After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jahanshah Parsivand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Immingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Jahanshah Parsivand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rahim Ghoreishi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mahyar Taslimi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rahim Ghoreishi. Birkenhead's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Birkenhead's zone, Rahim Shirzad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rahim Ghoreishi came out of the goal and Rahim Shirzad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jahanshah Parsivand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rahim Ghoreishi was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Rahim Ghoreishi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jahanshah Parsivand in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Shaheen Memarzadeh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Immingham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birkenhead the free kick. Shaheen Memarzadeh kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Gholam Artoonian came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Birkenhead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gholam Artoonian couldn't finish the play. If Jahanshah Parsivand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Shaheen Memarzadeh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Birkenhead defense, Rahim Shirzad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rahim Ghoreishi. The Birkenhead fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rahim Ghoreishi should have stopped the shot. Rahim Ghoreishi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jahanshah Parsivand's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The supporters of Birkenhead booed when Immingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahyar Taslimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sadra Kazemzadeh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hafez Azizi having to interfere. After the first half Immingham were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsalnn Bazargan to strike the kick off in the second half. If Rahim Shirzad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jahanshah Parsivand kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Sadra Kazemzadeh came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Birkenhead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadra Kazemzadeh couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Jahanshah Parsivand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reza Jalaeepour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rahim Ghoreishi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jahanshah Parsivand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rahim Ghoreishi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Rahim Shirzad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rahim Ghoreishi having to make a save. Hafez Azizi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadra Kazemzadeh in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Immingham's Rahim Shirzad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rahim Ghoreishi. Rahim Ghoreishi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 77 minutes of play, Immingham's Jahanshah Parsivand made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahim Ghoreishi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Immingham's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
