Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zakaria Javaherian started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Shaheen Alavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amir Parsa Abdi having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Zakaria Javaherian took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Soheil Mazloumi to make any attempt to save it. The nice shot from Hossein Alviri in the 16thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Soheil Mazloumi had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 16th minute, Shaheen Alavi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zakaria Javaherian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soheil Mazloumi having to interfere. Hossein Alviri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Hossein Alviri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Soheil Mazloumi, 2-0. A collision led to Perspolis getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Shaheen Alavi hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Peyman Mofti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amir Parsa Abdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zia Tayebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Zakaria Javaherian notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Perspolis's Soheil Mazloumi. Soheil Mazloumi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soheil Mazloumi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zakaria Javaherian, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peyman Mofti to strike the kick off in the second half. Soheil Mazloumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zakaria Javaherian's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Wanstead's Zakaria Javaherian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Soheil Mazloumi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Soheil Mazloumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zakaria Javaherian in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Perspolis's Peyman Mofti got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Soheil Mazloumi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zakaria Javaherian's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Perspolis's zone, Hossein Alviri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soheil Mazloumi came out of the goal and Hossein Alviri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hossein Alviri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Soheil Mazloumi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Wanstead's Amir Parsa Abdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyman Mofti in the 72nd minute of play. Zakaria Kavianpour hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Ferdows Kianian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Soheil Mazloumi skillfully saved the ball. Hossein Alviri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soheil Mazloumi having to interfere. When Hossein Alviri came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Wanstead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hossein Alviri couldn't finish the play. Soheil Mazloumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zakaria Javaherian in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Zakaria Javaherian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wanstead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zakaria Javaherian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Soheil Mazloumi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zakaria Javaherian in the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peyman Mofti during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Peyman Mofti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Perspolis got a freekick which was hit by Zakaria Kavianpour. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wanstead fans cheered their team off the field, for while Perspolis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
