But to his dismay, Mehrzad Moharrami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gholam Ghorbani kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Mehrzad Moharrami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jahanshah Rafipour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Ali Daei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Behrad Hojjati came free, but Sina Taheri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behrad Hojjati in the 16th minute of play forced Ali Daei FC's goalkeeper Sina Taheri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Mehrzad Moharrami was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ali Daei FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ali Daei FC's Mehrzad Moharrami got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Behrad Hojjati tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sina Taheri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jahanshah Rafipour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamed Fatemi in the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™ defense, Rahim Habibi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jahanshah Rafipour. The ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jahanshah Rafipour should have stopped the shot. ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™'s Jahanshah Rafipour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamed Fatemi in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ali Daei FC's zone, Soroush Yavari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehrzad Moharrami in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jahanshah Rafipour saved ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™ from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Ali Daei FC's Stig-Åke Ekegren got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Faraz Emad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™'s zone, Mehrzad Moharrami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jahanshah Rafipour came out of the goal and Mehrzad Moharrami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Daei FC's Sina Taheri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behrad Hojjati in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nima Farzanian to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Mehrzad Moharrami got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jahanshah Rafipour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Habibi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borzoo Fazeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jahanshah Rafipour having to interfere. Hamed Fatemi might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jahanshah Rafipour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamed Fatemi ran back to his position shaking his head. Soroush Yavari kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Mehrzad Moharrami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Borzoo Fazeli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jahanshah Rafipour. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. Rahim Habibi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jahanshah Rafipour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Behrad Hojjati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Habibi in the 84th minute of play forced ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™'s goalkeeper Jahanshah Rafipour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soroush Yavari in the 85th minute of play forced Ali Daei FC's goalkeeper Sina Taheri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Kiumars Babakan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sina Taheri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Amir Mahdi Khalatbari fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ali Daei FC's protests and gave Amir Mahdi Khalatbari a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ⓂⒺⒼⒶ ⒸⓊⓅ ⒻⒸ™ booed when Ali Daei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Mahdi Khalatbari didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Ebrahim Daneshjou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sina Taheri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ali Daei FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
