Spectators: 10000 (Terracing: 7500, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 200) Battle's Farzan Alinejad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahram Taghavian in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Battle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ebrahim Shahabnia to maneuver through the defense. Battle's Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Barzegar in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Ali Barzegar made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün. Battle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Shahyar Daneshjou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eastern Kurdistan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shahyar Daneshjou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Battle's Hassan Bagheri got a free kick in the 14th minute. Shahyar Daneshjou, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Eastern Kurdistan FC's Shahyar Daneshjou. But to his dismay, Shahyar Daneshjou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jahangir Abadian hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Battle's Parham Taghavi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Eastern Kurdistan FC's Bahram Taghavian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bahram Taghavian went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Eastern Kurdistan FC's Bahram Taghavian got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Battle's goal looked a bit too open when Shahyar Daneshjou came free, but Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Ali Barzegar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahram Taghavian in the 37th minute of play forced Battle's goalkeeper Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shahyar Daneshjou during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Parham Taghavi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Battle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Parham Taghavi couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Battle's Hassan Bagheri got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Battle's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Barzegar came free, but Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahram Taghavian in the 48th minute of the match. The Battle players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eastern Kurdistan FC were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahram Taghavian to make the kick off. A collision led to Battle getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ebrahim Shahabnia hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Barzegar got free with Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 55 minutes on the clock, Pasha Javaherian commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 56th match minute, Battle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pasha Javaherian to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Eastern Kurdistan FC's Shahyar Daneshjou broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Battle's Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün got control of the ball when Ali Barzegar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Eastern Kurdistan FC's Bahram Taghavian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Battle's Behrad Heidari got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahram Taghavian in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Ali Barzegar notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Battle's Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, Battle's goalkeeper Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Behrad Hajrezaei. Ali Barzegar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahram Taghavian in the 78th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Kianoosh Tabari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Battle's Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Barzegar got free with Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahram Taghavian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Eastern Kurdistan FC's Ali Barzegar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. After 95 minutes of play, Eastern Kurdistan FC's Ali Barzegar made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
