Zafar Mukhtar hit a great ball. Moreton FC's Ishtiaq Imtiaz got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rahman Munir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ishtiaq Imtiaz went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moreton FC's goalkeeper Ayub Nouman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Haidar Mehmood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Moreton FC got a freekick which was hit by Shabir Waqas. 22 minutes into the match, Moreton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haidar Mehmood came free, but Ayub Nouman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ishtiaq Imtiaz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Rahman Munir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreton FC. After having played for 28 minutes, Haidar Mehmood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newport United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haidar Mehmood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Newport United's Zafar Mukhtar got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Haidar Mehmood succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Moreton FC's Ayub Nouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haidar Mehmood in the 41st minute of play. Ayub Nouman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haidar Mehmood in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Usman Paracha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moreton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Usman Paracha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rahman Munir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haidar Mehmood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Usman Paracha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 53rd playminute. In the 57th minute, Haidar Mehmood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Shabir Waqas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Haidar Mehmood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newport United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Newport United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Usman Paracha scored to the left of an out of position Rahman Munir, making the score, 2-3. Ayub Nouman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moazzam Sultan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zafar Mukhtar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moazzam Sultan in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayub Nouman saved Moreton FC from getting behind. In the 90thth minute of the game Moazzam Sultan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moreton FC's Ayub Nouman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Zafar Mukhtar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes in the game, Usman Paracha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rahman Munir having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Moreton FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
