Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vernon Fordham started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Vernon Fordham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vernon Fordham came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Eltham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vernon Fordham couldn't finish the play. Martyn Newell hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Steven Deveraux made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yasir Mirza in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Azmat Kiyani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Deveraux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes, Eltham FC's Martyn Newell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Razi Ahsan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eltham FC reached it. In the 15th minute, Abdullah Khalid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes of play, Eltham FC's Franz Hyde made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Razi Ahsan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Azmat Kiyani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Steven Deveraux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Franz Hyde came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Eltham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franz Hyde couldn't finish the play. Khurram Zubair struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Steven Deveraux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheadle. 38 minutes into the match, Eltham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Azmat Kiyani came free, but Steven Deveraux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saad Usmani might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Steven Deveraux. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saad Usmani ran back to his position shaking his head. Azmat Kiyani struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Steven Deveraux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheadle. After the first half Eltham FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Steven Deveraux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khurram Zubair's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Steven Deveraux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azmat Kiyani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franz Hyde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Razi Ahsan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vernon Fordham in the 65th minute of play forced Cheadle's goalkeeper Razi Ahsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Eltham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khurram Zubair came free, but Steven Deveraux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cheadle's zone, Franz Hyde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Razi Ahsan came out of the goal and Franz Hyde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Deveraux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khurram Zubair in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Azmat Kiyani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Deveraux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khurram Zubair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khurram Zubair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Deveraux having to interfere. Azmat Kiyani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steven Deveraux having to make a save. The supporters of Cheadle booed when Eltham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Greaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheadle were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Eltham FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yasir Mirza took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Hanif Ghufyan got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 97 minutes into the match.
