Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Ghalib Aijaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saad Zahid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Sufyan Akram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cottered and the Petersfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Sufyan Akram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Petersfield's Zeeshan Dogar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 12th minute Ghalib Aijaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saad Zahid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junaid Zaheer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mubashar Haroon having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Petersfield's goalkeeper Mubashar Haroon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mudassar Azhar. After a rather tough play, Petersfield's Sabir Kashan got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cottered's goalkeeper Saad Zahid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes of play Cottered's Sufyan Akram was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cottered getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sufyan Akram hit a great ball. When Hanif Abbas came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Petersfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanif Abbas couldn't finish the play. Ghalib Aijaz's late challenge caught a Cottered's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghalib Aijaz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Petersfield getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ghalib Aijaz hit a great ball. Mudassar Azhars short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Mubashar Haroon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Saad Zahid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanif Abbas in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mudassar Azhar made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Cottered got a freekick which was hit by Mudassar Azhar. After having played for 65 minutes, Mudassar Azhar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cottered's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mudassar Azhar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Safdar Shamshad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68th play minutes Mudassar Azhar shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Mubashar Haroon and just under the crossbar into goal. Petersfield's Mubashar Haroon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mudassar Azhar in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Cottered booed when Petersfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeeshan Dogar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mudasser Dar, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Cottered booed when Petersfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umer Aijaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cottered's Saad Zahid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Cottered from getting a goal against them. If Mudassar Azhar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Petersfield's Saad Zahid threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ghalib Aijaz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st match minute, Petersfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabir Kashan to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Petersfield got a freekick which was hit by Ghalib Aijaz. Ghalib Aijaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cottered's goalkeeper Saad Zahid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cottered fans cheered their team off the field, for while Petersfield had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
