Spectators: 6512 (Terracing: 5002, Seating: 1505, VIP seats: 5) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ateeq Usman made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Godmanchester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Machin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Coleford's Amjad Jaffar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Aftab Fida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colin Slade's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Aftab Fida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Blower in the 12th minute of play. Godmanchester FC's Colin Slade managed to work through Coleford's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Colin Slade dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tosh Rotherfield came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Coleford's Isa Najam. But to his dismay, Isa Najam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Brad Blower blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aftab Fida having to make a save. Brad Blower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godmanchester FC's Colin Slade got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amjad Jaffar hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coleford's zone, Brad Blower stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aftab Fida came out of the goal and Brad Blower tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Coleford's goal looked a bit too open when Colin Slade came free, but Aftab Fida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ateeq Usman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tosh Rotherfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brad Blower to make the kick off. Aftab Fida made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Colin Slade sent off a good shot on target. Quentin Grayson's late challenge caught a Coleford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin Grayson helped the player get up and apologised. 57 minutes into the match, Godmanchester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isa Najam came free, but Tosh Rotherfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Colin Slade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Godmanchester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Slade to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Coleford's goal looked a bit too open when Brad Blower came free, but Aftab Fida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Brad Blower made a precise shot to the right of Aftab Fida. Coleford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Brad Blower managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godmanchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brad Blower was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aftab Fida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tosh Rotherfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amjad Jaffar in the 84th minute of the match. Isa Najam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brad Blower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aftab Fida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Rodd Blowman put in a rough tackle. Rodd Blowman kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Raza Zohaib shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tosh Rotherfield showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Coleford support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
