A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Azmat Kiyani came free, but Daud Khalid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khurram Zubair in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daud Khalid saved FC BARCELONA from getting behind. Talha Mannan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Razi Ahsan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Naveed Kaleem. FC BARCELONA's Daud Khalid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azmat Kiyani in the 35th minute of play. Daud Zeeshan struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Razi Ahsan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BARCELONA. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Cheadle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC BARCELONA a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. When Khurram Zubair came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Cheadle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khurram Zubair couldn't finish the play. Azmat Kiyani might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daud Khalid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azmat Kiyani ran back to his position shaking his head. FC BARCELONA's Daud Khalid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasir Mirza in the 95th minute of play. Azmat Kiyani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheadle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
