Spectators: 6953 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 0) Laurence Henman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 12th minute, Brad Weeks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rahman Qalander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rahman Qalander might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barney Long. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rahman Qalander ran back to his position shaking his head. Kamil Azhar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rahman Qalander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Adam Hurst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teignmouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Hurst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yasir Kiyani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Hurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasir Kiyani having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Teignmouth's zone, Parvaiz Kashif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barney Long came out of the goal and Parvaiz Kashif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rahman Qalander took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barney Long. Barney Long dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teignmouth's goalkeeper Barney Long, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Parvaiz Kashif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Teignmouth's zone, Rahman Qalander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barney Long came out of the goal and Rahman Qalander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Parvaiz Kashif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Parvaiz Kashif was the one to do the kick off. Barney Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Azhar in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Teignmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Worth to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Parvaiz Kashif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parvaiz Kashif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Teignmouth getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ted Couch hit a great ball. Parvaiz Kashif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rahman Qalander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rahman Qalander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Saltash's Parvaiz Kashif ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Barney Long. Barney Long yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Parvaiz Kashif's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barney Long was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Adam Hurst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yasir Kiyani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rahman Qalander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Barney Long skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Barney Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parvaiz Kashif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parvaiz Kashif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Long having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Saltash left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Teignmouth.
