Spectators: 6940 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Laurence Henman made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Mir Zeeshan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barney Long was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Laurence Henman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Khan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adam Hurst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Saad Bhatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Hurst struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hassan Khan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teignmouth. 31 minutes into the match, Saad Bhatti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barney Long. Teignmouth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saad Bhatti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 34 minutes into the game, Cannock City's Mir Zeeshan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barney Long made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Talal Raman charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Talal Raman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Teignmouth booed when Cannock City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talal Raman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saad Bhatti might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barney Long. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saad Bhatti ran back to his position shaking his head. Barney Long came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Cannock City's Mir Zeeshan. But to his dismay, Mir Zeeshan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saad Bhatti to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Teignmouth's zone, Saad Bhatti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barney Long came out of the goal and Saad Bhatti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Teignmouth getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bill Litchfield hit a great ball. The long shot by Masood Asharf in the 54th minute really tested Barney Long's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Barney Long was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Saad Bhatti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saad Bhatti really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Saad Bhatti struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Barney Long didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cannock City. In the 64th minute, Sheraz Wahid made a precise shot to the right of Barney Long. Teignmouth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Talal Raman hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Mir Zeeshans short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Barney Long to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hassan Khan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Henman in the 79th minute of the match. If Mir Zeeshan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Saad Bhatti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teignmouth's Barney Long was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saad Bhatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Barney Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Teignmouth defense, Mir Zeeshan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barney Long. The Teignmouth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barney Long should have stopped the shot. Cannock City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
