Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ijaz Kurd started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Great Ayton`'s Zain Akbar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Usama Irshad but with some difficulty. Great Ayton`'s Amjad Qureshi got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Usama Irshad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ijaz Kurd, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Usama Irshad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ijaz Kurd in the 12th minute of the match. Agha Usmani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shafqat Zahid. Great Ayton`'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aftab Sabih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shafqat Zahid having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Great Ayton`'s Saad Imtiaz got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Sufyan Zardari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shafqat Zahid skillfully saved the ball. Shafqat Zahid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aftab Sabih, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Umer Mohsin scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shafqat Zahid, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saad Imtiaz's late challenge caught a Southam City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saad Imtiaz helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aftab Sabih in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shafqat Zahid saved Great Ayton` from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Amjad Qureshi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Ayton`'s supporters rose to their feet, but Amjad Qureshi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Usama Irshad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Southam City's Usama Irshad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ijaz Kurd in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Kamil Akbar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southam City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Great Ayton` the free kick. In the 43rd play minute Ijaz Kurd came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Usama Irshad. 1-1. Aftab Sabih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shafqat Zahid having to interfere.

The wind increased when Aftab Sabih made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saad Imtiaz in the 52nd minute of play forced Southam City's goalkeeper Usama Irshad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Ijaz Kurd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agha Usmani kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Amjad Qureshi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Ayton`'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Amjad Qureshi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ayub Raja during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ayub Raja hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aftab Sabih in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shafqat Zahid saved Great Ayton` from getting behind. When Amjad Qureshi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Great Ayton` fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amjad Qureshi couldn't finish the play. Saqlain Satti was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 80th match minute, Southam City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saqlain Satti to maneuver through the defense. Usama Irshad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ijaz Kurd in the 82nd minute of play. Usama Irshad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ijaz Kurd in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Ijaz Kurd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Usama Irshad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amjad Qureshi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Usama Irshad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Ayton`. Ijaz Kurd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
