A collision led to Stockport getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sidney Workman hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes Weir FC got a freekick which was hit by Javed Talib. Hamid Bilawal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matty Carpenter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stuart Claydon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javed Talib, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Javed Talib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Weir FC's zone, Sidney Workman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayaz Awais came out of the goal and Sidney Workman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Workman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ayaz Awais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Hamid Bilawal made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stockport's Stuart Claydon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd match minute, Weir FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Usama Jahangir to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Stockport's goalkeeper Stuart Claydon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamid Bilawal. Stuart Claydon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Bilawal in the 44th minute of play forced Stockport's goalkeeper Stuart Claydon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stuart Claydon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javed Talib, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stuart Claydon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Weir FC booed when Stockport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rod Bradfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weir FC's Hamid Bilawal got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stockport's Sidney Workman got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javed Talib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Claydon having to interfere. Hamid Bilawal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, Weir FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farooq Eitazaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Javed Talib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Claydon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
