Liam Furlong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, one of Bromsgrove FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Bingley City a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Camron Heywood, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bromsgrove FC's Tahir Kaleem. 1-0. When Bromsgrove FC's Aslam Zahid in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bingley City's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muhammad Naseem in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liam Furlong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jahangir Fawad hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bromsgrove FC's Aslam Zahid got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Umer Khan fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bromsgrove FC's protests and gave Umer Khan a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Tahir Kaleem, was totally fooled by Bingley City's Camron Heywood, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 36 minutes into the match, Bingley City's goal looked a bit too open when Aslam Zahid came free, but Liam Furlong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhammad Naseem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muhammad Naseem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liam Furlong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aslam Zahid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Muhammad Naseem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The supporters of Bingley City booed when Bromsgrove FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aslam Zahid didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Walter Croyden fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bingley City's protests and gave Walter Croyden a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bingley City's Walter Croyden got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Aslam Zahid could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Liam Furlong however easily saved by the left post. Liam Furlong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aslam Zahid in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Bingley City got a freekick which was hit by Camron Heywood. In the 68th minute, Amir Moeez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bingley City's Liam Furlong didn't even have to move. Tahir Kaleem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Sykes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Norman Foreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camron Heywood charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camron Heywood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jahangir Fawad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bromsgrove FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jahangir Fawad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liam Furlong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bingley City's Liam Furlong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammad Naseem in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Muhammad Naseem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muhammad Naseem struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Liam Furlong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bromsgrove FC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bromsgrove FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
