After having played for 5 minutes, Malik Shan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penryn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malik Shan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Munir Basharat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Munir Basharat came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the New Brighton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Munir Basharat couldn't finish the play. Shabir Khan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munir Basharat in the 14th minute of the match. Munir Basharat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shabir Khan having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Aftab Farasat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Brighton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aftab Farasat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shabir Khan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasir Farasat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Penryn's zone, Munir Basharat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shabir Khan came out of the goal and Munir Basharat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shabir Khan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Munir Basharat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shabir Khan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by New Brighton United's Munir Basharat. But to his dismay, Munir Basharat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Shabir Khan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aftab Farasat in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Penryn's goal looked a bit too open when Aftab Farasat came free, but Shabir Khan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Malik Shan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayaz Lodhi having to interfere. Malik Shan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shabir Khan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aftab Farasat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aftab Farasat in the 72nd minute of play forced Penryn's goalkeeper Shabir Khan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Usama Mir from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Shabir Khan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Penryn's Shabir Khan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aftab Farasat in the 81st minute of play. Aftab Farasats short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Shabir Khan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute, Munir Basharat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Brighton United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Brighton United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
