Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arshad Shan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eccles's Razi Wahid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shamshad Haroon in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Blackheath FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arshad Shan came free, but Hanif Rafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khurram Jamil during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Blackheath FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khurram Jamil to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Eccles's Hanif Rafi threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arshad Shan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hanif Rafi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arshad Shan's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Blackheath FC's goalkeeper Hanif Rafi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafiq Shahid. Yasir Rehman's late challenge caught a Eccles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yasir Rehman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Blackheath FC's Yasir Rehman got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Shamshad Haroon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Razi Wahid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hanif Rafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arshad Shan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shamshad Haroon was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play Blackheath FC's Khurram Jamil was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Eccles booed when Blackheath FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khurram Jamil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arshad Shan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hanif Rafi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eccles. Rafiq Shahid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hanif Rafi having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Arshad Shan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hanif Rafi was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Waqas Musharraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafiq Shahid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arshad Shan in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hanif Rafi saved Blackheath FC from getting behind. In the 79th minute Rafiq Shahid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hanif Rafi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
