Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andre Rothwell made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Hull AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Rothwell came free, but Adeel Sarosh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Razzaq Malik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adeel Sarosh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Winterburn, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Frinton's Andre Rothwell got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hull AFC's Adeel Sarosh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Winterburn in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hull AFC's Razzaq Malik got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Andre Rothwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Bobby Winterburn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Andre Rothwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adeel Sarosh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobby Winterburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Adeel Sarosh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Razzaq Malik to make the kick off. Bobby Winterburn struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Adeel Sarosh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frinton. Razzaq Malik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Ansell having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Frinton's Louie Laurie got a free kick in the 61st minute. Frinton's Rich Ansell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Razzaq Malik in the 63rd minute of play. Saad Shamshad struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Rich Ansell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hull AFC. The supporters of Frinton booed when Hull AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saad Shamshad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adeel Sarosh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Rothwell in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Usama Shahid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hull AFC and the Frinton players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bobby Winterburn got free with Adeel Sarosh in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bobby Winterburn struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Adeel Sarosh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frinton. If Andre Rothwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Razzaq Malik in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rich Ansell saved Frinton from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Saad Shamshad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rich Ansell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
