The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jasim Basharat hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes, Worsley's Imran Shakeel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Malik Farasat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Worsley reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Usman Qalander in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malik Farasat saved Micklefield FC from getting behind. 9 minutes into the game, Jasim Basharat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Micklefield FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Worsley the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Micklefield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasim Basharat to maneuver through the defense. Fareed Shaheed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Atif Bhatti made a huge save. Malik Farasat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Usman Qalander in the 14th minute of the match. Ali Fazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ali Fazil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Worsley's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Fazil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malik Farasat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delawar Usman charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delawar Usman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delawar Usman hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Micklefield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Usman Qalander came free, but Malik Farasat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Ali Fazil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Worsley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Fazil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atif Bhatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ishtiaq Irshad in the 34th minute of the match. Malik Farasat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Fazil, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Fareed Shaheed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atif Bhatti having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ishtiaq Irshad made a kick off. Ali Fazil came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Malik Farasat could save by the left post. Atif Bhatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ishtiaq Irshad in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Waqas Jamal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Worsley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Micklefield FC the free kick. Waqas Jamal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Fareed Shaheed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shoaib Kaleem hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jasim Basharat hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Micklefield FC got a freekick which was hit by Delawar Usman. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Malik Farasat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Micklefield FC's Ishtiaq Irshad in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Worsley's goalie prevented a goal. When Usman Qalander came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Worsley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Usman Qalander couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Worsley's goal looked a bit too open when Ishtiaq Irshad came free, but Atif Bhatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Micklefield FC's Malik Farasat got control of the ball when Ali Fazil tried to sneak it across the goal line.
