The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Usman Qalander helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Fazil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Fazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Fazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Ansell having to interfere. Bobby Winterburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Waqas Jamal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn Tully took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Atif Bhatti. Worsley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Worsley's zone, Andre Rothwell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atif Bhatti came out of the goal and Andre Rothwell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Javaid Shakeel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Worsley's Ali Fazil got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ali Fazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 minutes of play, Worsley's Ali Fazil made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rich Ansell was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Fazil in the 74th minute of play forced Frinton's goalkeeper Rich Ansell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frinton's goalkeeper Rich Ansell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shoaib Kaleem might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rich Ansell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shoaib Kaleem ran back to his position shaking his head. Usman Qalander was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Atif Bhatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bobby Winterburn in the 97th minute.
