Callington AFC's Olly Stiles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Callington AFC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdullah Jamil in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olly Stiles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Harvey Brewer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jahanzeb Danish was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Callington AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Roger Nethercoat hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Callington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tosh Branston to maneuver through the defense. Khalid Kaleem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Olly Stiles made a huge save. Abdullah Jamil struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Olly Stiles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakengates. If Abdullah Jamil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Callington AFC's Olly Stiles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullah Jamil in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Harvey Brewer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jahanzeb Danish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Abdullah Jamil got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Callington AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Roger Nethercoat hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdullah Jamil to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Des Hyde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Khalid Kaleem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Callington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Meade to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Hamid Chaughtai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olly Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalid Kaleem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Olly Stiles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Khalid Kaleem notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Callington AFC's Olly Stiles. Olly Stiles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdullah Jamil in the 78th minute of play forced Callington AFC's goalkeeper Olly Stiles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Fred Meade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callington AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Meade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azghar Ahsan's late challenge caught a Callington AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azghar Ahsan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oakengates getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Azghar Ahsan hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Hamid Chaughtai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oakengates's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callington AFC the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Oakengates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Chaughtai to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Oakengates booed when Callington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Meade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalid Kaleem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olly Stiles having to interfere. Callington AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
