Callington AFC's Kirk Fenton got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Meman kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Melton Mowbray's goal looked a bit too open when Kirk Fenton came free, but Umair Bilal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harvey Brewer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Umair Bilal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roger Nethercoat fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Callington AFC's protests and gave Roger Nethercoat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Roger Nethercoat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sohaib Jamal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaleel Paracha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olly Stiles having to interfere. When Melton Mowbray's Sohaib Jamal in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Callington AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Melton Mowbray's Umair Bilal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Brewer in the 22nd minute of play. Razi Intisar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Callington AFC's goalkeeper Olly Stiles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaleel Paracha. Olly Stiles was a little too slow when Jaleel Paracha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. Fred Meade's late challenge caught a Melton Mowbray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Meade helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Callington AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fred Meade hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kirk Fenton to make the kick off. Jaleel Paracha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olly Stiles having to interfere. If Sohaib Jamal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Melton Mowbray's Jaleel Paracha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olly Stiles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olly Stiles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sohaib Jamal in the 62nd minute of the match. When Sohaib Jamal came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Melton Mowbray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sohaib Jamal couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Jaleel Paracha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olly Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaleel Paracha in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olly Stiles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olly Stiles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaleel Paracha in the 82nd minute of play. Jaleel Paracha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olly Stiles having to interfere. In the 87th minute Sohaib Jamal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olly Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melton Mowbray's Jaleel Paracha got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
