After 45 minutes of play, Radlett's Ali Khalid made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Whitehead was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Radlett fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Radlett's Abdullah Barlas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brandon Deakin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With his leg Ruben Whitehead managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Radlett's Abdullah Barlas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 64th minute of the match Radlett got a corner. Shoeburyness AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malik Shamshad ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shoeburyness AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Whitehead, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Shoeburyness AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anees Mushtaq fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Shoeburyness AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Ali Khalid scored to the left of an out of position Ruben Whitehead, making the score, 0-8. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ali Khalid took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Ruben Whitehead to make any attempt to save it.
