Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timothy Challis got the match started through his kick off. When Adam Shayan came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Newthorpe United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Shayan couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ali Eehab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newthorpe United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Eehab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Robson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Ali Eehab made a precise shot to the right of Theo Robson. Comberton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Newthorpe United's Ali Eehab in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Comberton United's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Newthorpe United's Adam Shayan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Robson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Damian Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Challis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comberton United's Theo Robson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Shayan in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Comberton United defense, Adam Shayan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Robson. The Comberton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Robson should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Comberton United's Karl Slade got a free kick in the 26th minute. Adam Shayan struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Theo Robson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newthorpe United. After 29th play minutes Adam Shayan shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Theo Robson and just under the crossbar into goal. Damian Wnukowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Challis in the 33rd minute of the match. Theo Robson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Shayan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Comberton United defense, Raghu Bolognesi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Robson. The Comberton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Robson should have stopped the shot. Newthorpe United's Benny Bosmans got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Adam Shayan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Theo Robson 55 minutes into the match. During the 59th minute of the match Karl Slade completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karl Slade a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 60 played minutes Comberton United got a freekick which was hit by Karl Slade. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Shayan got free with Theo Robson in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Eehab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Theo Robson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Theo Robson managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Newthorpe United's Adam Shayan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the match, Comberton United's goal looked a bit too open when Raghu Bolognesi came free, but Theo Robson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Comberton United's goalkeeper Theo Robson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Shayan. Theo Robson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Shayan in the 75th minute. If Adam Shayan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Shayan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Theo Robson made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Shaukat Asharf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newthorpe United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Adam Shayans short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Theo Robson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Comberton United's Theo Robson got control of the ball when Raghu Bolognesi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Shayan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Theo Robson made a huge save. Ali Eehab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo Robson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Shayan in the 94th minute. The Comberton United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newthorpe United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
