After 9 played minutes Welford got a freekick which was hit by Dean Ashworth. In the 14th minute, Hassan Shan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierce Tipton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Babar Jaffar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hilperton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Welford the free kick. A collision led to Hilperton getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Babar Jaffar hit a great ball. When Nicky Hodges came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Welford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicky Hodges couldn't finish the play. Hilperton's Hassan Shan suffered a concussion in the 46th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Dean Ashworth fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Welford's protests and gave Dean Ashworth a yellow card for diving instead. Hilperton's Mudassar Shan was substituted for Hassan Shan. Dean Ashworth hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Hussain Hanif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Pierce Tipton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mudassar Shan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hussain Hanif in the 55th minute of play forced Welford's goalkeeper Pierce Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierce Tipton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mudassar Shan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mudassar Shan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sohail Khwaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Mudassar Shan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Welford's Pierce Tipton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Welford's Nicky Hodges made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yusaf Lodhi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sohail Khwaja charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sohail Khwaja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Hilperton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sohail Khwaja to maneuver through the defense. Yusaf Lodhi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kasey Hatcher showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 74 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Nicky Hodges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yusaf Lodhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Pierce Tipton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mudassar Shan in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Brynn Avery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brynn Avery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sohail Khwaja kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
