Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Thrybergh's goal looked a bit too open when Pierce Graydon came free, but Aslam Qadri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Niaz Jamal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Niaz Jamal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jim Fox got free with Aslam Qadri in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theo Robson came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Thrybergh's Niaz Jamal. But to his dismay, Niaz Jamal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Niaz Jamal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Robson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Comberton United's zone, Niaz Jamal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Robson came out of the goal and Niaz Jamal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comberton United's Jim Fox got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timothy Challis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aslam Qadri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Timothy Challis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comberton United's supporters rose to their feet, but Timothy Challis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aslam Qadri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 53rd minute, Pierce Graydon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Comberton United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Karl Slade hit a great ball. Thrybergh were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Comberton United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Farhan Shakir took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Kaisar Naeem heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 62 minutes into the game, Thrybergh's Niaz Jamal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Robson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Comberton United's Jim Fox got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ali Asad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thrybergh's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Asad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Robson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thrybergh's Niaz Jamal got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aslam Qadri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Fox in the 79th minute of the match. Thrybergh's Aslam Qadri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierce Graydon in the 83rd minute of play. Niaz Jamal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 86th playminute. The Thrybergh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Thrybergh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
