Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ali Asad got the match started through his kick off. Thrybergh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Jeremy Renwick scored to the left of an out of position Aslam Qadri, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Renwick in the 11th minute of play forced Thrybergh's goalkeeper Aslam Qadri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Archie Beard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindfield FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Archie Beard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Thrybergh's zone, Archie Beard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aslam Qadri came out of the goal and Archie Beard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denny Almond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niaz Jamal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lindfield FC's goalkeeper Denny Almond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denny Almond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niaz Jamal in the 35th minute of play. When Khurram Munir fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thrybergh's protests and gave Khurram Munir a yellow card for diving instead. Khurram Munir kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The excitement rose when Thrybergh's Adeel Paracha after 39 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Lindfield FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. After 44 played minutes, Lindfield FC's Deon Welch shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aslam Qadri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lindfield FC reached it. Niaz Jamal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Jeremy Renwick made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Thrybergh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malik Shakir to maneuver through the defense. Archie Beard might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aslam Qadri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Archie Beard ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Archie Beard in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aslam Qadri saved Thrybergh from getting behind. Malik Shakir hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Aslam Qadri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Archie Beard went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Thrybergh! Archie Beard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-1 became the score in the 74th minute when Archie Beard elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jeremy Renwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Jeremy Renwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aslam Qadri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deon Welch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aslam Qadri. Thrybergh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Thrybergh's Niaz Jamal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Malik Shakir hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 88th match minute, Thrybergh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malik Shakir to maneuver through the defense. Jon Langsford hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ali Asad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Thrybergh players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lindfield FC.
