Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reuben Monkman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Swaffham United's Bilal Qalander got a free kick in the 57th minute. West Wickham City's Alan Preston got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timothy Marshall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imran Aamish in the 63rd minute of play. Timothy Marshall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaukat Rasheed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Jon Ramsden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Wickham City and the Swaffham United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A wasted opportunity for Swaffham United. 94 minutes into the match, Swaffham United's Razi Kashan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timothy Marshall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Shaukat Rasheed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Imran Aamish ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timothy Marshall was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Although Swaffham United had been in control for most of the match, West Wickham City still came away with the win.
