After 13 minutes of play, Hinckley's Mahmood ul-Hassan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theo Robson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jonathon Shipley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Fox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Imran Mukhtar having to interfere. Jonathon Shipley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Imran Mukhtar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Fox in the 25th minute of play forced Hinckley's goalkeeper Imran Mukhtar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tayyab Fida kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Theo Robson. That made the score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Jim Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Hinckley's Mahmood ul-Hassan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Robson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Yasir Barlas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theo Robson, 5-0. Jack Cook hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mahmood ul-Hassan made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Tayyab Fida sped through Comberton United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Theo Robson. When Tayyab Fida came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Hinckley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayyab Fida couldn't finish the play. Tayyab Fida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Theo Robson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Comberton United defense, Mahmood ul-Hassan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Robson. The Comberton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Robson should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Hinckley's Sami Usmani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Robson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jim Fox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Imran Mukhtar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Theo Robson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyab Fida, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Theo Robson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayyab Fida in the 87th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hinckley fully deserved thier win.
