Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Desiderio Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Colman charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordan Colman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lindfield FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jordan Colman hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Westbury-sub-Mendip's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Colman came free, but Panos Kontogiannidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zackary Hollingsworth kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lindfield FC's zone, Desiderio Ibar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denny Almond came out of the goal and Desiderio Ibar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When Archie Beard fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lindfield FC's protests and gave Archie Beard a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Lindfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Archie Beard. 1-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Desiderio Ibar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Desiderio Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Almond having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Desiderio Ibar made a precise shot to the right of Denny Almond. Lindfield FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Renwick in the 69th minute of play forced Westbury-sub-Mendip's goalkeeper Panos Kontogiannidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denny Almond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Hurtiš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Westbury-sub-Mendip booed when Lindfield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Colman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Viktor Hurtiš cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Denny Almond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 89 minutes, Desiderio Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westbury-sub-Mendip's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Ibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Westbury-sub-Mendip's Desiderio Ibar got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
