After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ayaz Sajid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northallerton's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayaz Sajid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mudasser Qureshi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kamran Mazhar struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Mudasser Qureshi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northallerton. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sufyan Shayan in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Masood Ghufyan saved Northallerton from getting behind. Mudasser Qureshi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamran Mazhar in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Wellesbourne getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nadir Kiyani hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Aftab Meman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Northallerton's Mir Fida got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Sufyan Shayan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Masood Ghufyan was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. A collision led to Northallerton getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kamil Shah hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamran Mazhar was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nadir Kiyani got free with Masood Ghufyan in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Ayaz Sajid made a precise shot to the right of Mudasser Qureshi. Wellesbourne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Moazzam Rehman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Northallerton's Masood Ghufyan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Northallerton defense, Sufyan Shayan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Masood Ghufyan. The Northallerton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Masood Ghufyan should have stopped the shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Northallerton had won after a very even match.
