After 5 played minutes Sandbach got a freekick which was hit by Shabir Kashif. 6 minutes into the match, Sandbach's goal looked a bit too open when Husnain Shan came free, but Kang Xiang Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Husnain Faisal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kang Xiang Xuan was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Husnain Faisal struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Kang Xiang Xuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lambda. Kamran Ghufyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taimoor Shamshad in the 21st minute of play. Husnain Faisals short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Kang Xiang Xuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 23 played minutes Sandbach got a freekick which was hit by Hakim ul-Hassan. Kamran Ghufyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim ul-Hassan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim ul-Hassan in the 33rd minute of play forced Lambda's goalkeeper Kamran Ghufyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabir Mannan hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Shabir Kashif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamran Ghufyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Lambda's Husnain Faisal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Kamran Ghufyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakim ul-Hassan in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Husnain Faisal made a kick off. After 53 minutes Sandbach's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Husnain Faisal who took care of the corner kick. Hakim ul-Hassan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Husnain Shan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lambda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Husnain Shan couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Sabir Mannan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lambda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandbach the free kick. The referee gave Sandbach a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shabir Basharat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lambda's Kamran Ghufyan. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaib Mushtaq in the 82nd minute of play forced Lambda's goalkeeper Kamran Ghufyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Husnain Faisal in the 86th minute of play forced Sandbach's goalkeeper Kang Xiang Xuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamran Ghufyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shabir Kashif in the 87th minute of play. Khurram Lateef was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Sandbach's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 91st minute Shabir Kashif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamran Ghufyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kang Xiang Xuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Husnain Faisal in the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Shabir Kashif reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kamran Ghufyan. The goal made the score 1-4. The Lambda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sandbach were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
