Kamran Ghufyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdullah Liaquat in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Lambda's goal looked a bit too open when Imran Sultan came free, but Kamran Ghufyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pakistan Army FC's Kamran Ghufyan threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabir Mirza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Usama Shahrukh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kamran Ghufyan came out and tried to block the shot, but Usama Shahrukh slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. Jahangir Asif was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Zaib Zubair dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kamran Ghufyan, 3-1. Zaib Zubair scored 4-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kamran Ghufyan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kamran Ghufyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Usama Shahrukh, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kamran Ghufyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullah Liaquat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamran Ghufyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imran Sultan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zaib Zubair managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Lambda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamran Ghufyan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Usama Shahrukh in the 61st minute of play forced Lambda's goalkeeper Kamran Ghufyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdullah Liaquat in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kamran Ghufyan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amjad Khan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Kamran Ghufyan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Usama Shahrukh went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imran Sultan in the 82nd minute of play forced Lambda's goalkeeper Kamran Ghufyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Zaib Zubair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pakistan Army FC and the Lambda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kamran Ghufyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usama Shahrukh in the 86th minute of play. Lambda's Kamran Ghufyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imran Sultan in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, Pakistan Army FC's Zaib Zubair made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kamran Ghufyan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mansoor Asharf lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
