Parvaiz Shan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Saad Jaffery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atif Azhar might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babar Mannan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atif Azhar ran back to his position shaking his head. سمندری طوفان's Babar Mannan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaib Khan in the 17th minute of play. Saad Jaffery charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saad Jaffery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saad Jaffery hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. سمندری طوفان's Babar Mannan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamran Naseem in the 31st minute of play. Fahim Zubair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Razi Mirza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Islamabad Royals's goal looked a bit too open when Rafiq Saeed came free, but Razi Mirza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Fahim Zubair made the kick off in the second half. Babar Mannan came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Islamabad Royals's Arif Moeez. But to his dismay, Arif Moeez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Fahim Zubair managed to get in a good position for a shot. سمندری طوفان's supporters rose to their feet, but Fahim Zubair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Razi Mirza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Moeez in the 60th minute of play forced سمندری طوفان's goalkeeper Babar Mannan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaib Khan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Babar Mannan came out and tried to block the shot, but Zaib Khan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 64th minute. Zeeshan Waheed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, سمندری طوفان's Saeed Chaudary got a free kick in the 69th minute. Babar Mannan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaib Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Babar Mannan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaib Khan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Babar Mannan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaib Khan in the 77th minute of play. Babar Mannan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaib Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Islamabad Royals's Atif Azhar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Babar Mannan. Babar Mannan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. A collision led to سمندری طوفان getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rafiq Saeed hit a great ball. Parvaiz Shan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Razi Mirza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for سمندری طوفان.
